Slough hockey club has an extensive history of winning major elite honours both at National and European level. Many club players have represented their country at International levels and today Slough HC continues to boast several current internationals as well as a significant number of past internationals who provide their experience to the club to aid its forward development. In 2010, several ladies from Slough played at both the World Cup and the Commonwealth games.

Slough HC has exciting flair players who with their individual ability can enlighten any game. The club's success today is due to the dedication of its members and supporters and the youth section has become much more prominent. It is the juniors who will define the club as we move forward and significant efforts are made by the club in carefully controlled, child safe environment to encourage the development of the junior players.

The club's team spirit is based on a blend of youth and experienced players; combined with a rich mixture of cultures and backgrounds. These together have formed values of success and friendship.
