Slough U14 5 Maidenhead U14 0

Match Report

First Half:
Slough took on Maidenhead's U14 side and early on both sides were contesting in the middle of the park. However it was the middle 3 of Slough in Kalhan Rajput, Sam Harris and
Vivek Shah who came out on top, with the latter showing some sublime skills and went on to score Slough’s 1st goal.

With Slough now confident, the solid back 3 of Talah Mohummed, "Mr Reliable" Arjan Thind and Navi Vithana allowed the Slough midfield and forwards to pressurise the Maidenhead defence, soon gaining a short corner which was duly dispatched with a thundering shot by Jaimal Toor. Further pressure from the now settled Josh Gill and Syun Poonaji (both playing wing half) created an opportunity for the Goal machine Zoravr Thind to score.

Second Half:

With confidence sky high, Slough started playing some super hockey with a lot of passing and skills on display. However it was Jaimal Toor who stole the limelight with a superb reverse stick strike from the D top which beat the Maidenhead goalkeeper.

With some changes made to the back line, Maidenhead create a few chances but Rohan Daggar in Goal was quick to clear the threat and another Slough attack saw the promising Harris Nijjer score a well taken goal.

Overall a Great team effort and hope the boys continue to perform with the passion and effort as shown on Sunday.

Mention must go to the improving Jas Karan who works tireless for the team and Jaimal Toor who was outstanding on the day and looking forward to seeing him to get some recognition from the County Setup.
