Andy Furnell has made his first signing since taking over as Soham Manager with Jake Gillingwater agreeing to remain at the club for the new season, following his departure from Rushden and Diamonds.
The 18 year old defender arrived at the Lane in March on loan from Diamonds and started the final seven games at the end of the season. Whilst at Rushden, Jake made one 1st Team appearance, and was also Youth Team Captain.
As well as Jake, Assistant Manager Andy Coleman, Captain Michael Simpson, Dan Bircham, Martin Bromwich, Scott Carter, Rogan McGeorge and Richard Gammon have also re-signed for the new campaign with others likely to follow in the coming weeks.
