After a fairly even goalless first half, the hosts scored twice in the opening five minutes of the second half goals before Charles Libam reduced the lead in the 53rd minute, when he took Jones ball past the keeper to knock it into an empty net. Stamford then went on to score another four goals, including two in the final minutes to secure a large victory.
