Gary Cohen has confirmed he will not be returning to Soham next season.

All the very best next season Soham Town Rangers, its been a pleasure
- Gary Cohen

The versatile 34-year old announced the news on Twitter
“Just want to thank Robbie Mason and Erkan Okay for giving me another chance to play this season. As much as I want it continue, the travelling is a killer when you have a family. I will never say never, but for the mean time all the very best next season Soham Town Rangers, its been a pleasure”

Cohen scored three goals in thirty-nine appearances after arriving at the Lane in September, having finished the previous season at AFC Hornchurch.

Assistant Manager Erkan Okay commented on the news in the Ely Standard
“Gary was immense for us. He played up front, out wide and at full-back – and he did a great job in every position. He’ll be a big loss, but he has a young family and can’t commit to the travelling involved in playing for us. The door will certainly remain open for him, though. He wasn’t at the club for that long, but he made a massive impression and set a great example for the younger lads.
Myself and Robbie Mason have nothing but respect for him. The way he performed and conducted himself was exceptional.”
