At the Leagues AGM, it was announced that the Southern League will have two new sponsors from the beginning of the 2009/10 season, following the conclusion of the current deals with British Gas Business and GX.
The League will be sponsored by drinks brand Zamaretto, and will simply be known as the Zamaretto League, whilst insurance company Red Insure take over the sponsorship of the League Cup, which now will be known as the Red Insure Cup.
