Four players have this week confirmed that they have left Soham to be reunited with Robbie Nightingale at Cambridge City.

The players involved are Jordan Gent, Ryan Sharman, Salim Relizani and Ross Paterson.

Defender Gent is the club’s current longest serving player having signed from St Neots Town in February 2013, going onto score fourteen goals in his 185 appearances, as well as being named player of the year for the previous two seasons.

Sharman also arrived from the Saints in November 2013 and was last season voted player of the season and top scorer. The attacking midfielder is also the Green’s top scorer this season and in total scored 41 goals in 142 appearances.

Paterson returned to the Lane last November from Newmarket Town, having previously played for the club at the start of the 2012 season. The midfielder has made the most appearances for the side this campaign, but in total played 56 games, scoring nine goals.

Relizani was one of the first signing Nightingale and Theobald made when they took over as Managers in October last year, when the attacker signed from Histon, going onto score 14 goals in 45 appearances.
