Three goals in the first 25 minutes lifted Harlow to second place in Division One North with a 3-1 home win over Great Wakering on Saturday.

Mark Taylor put Hawks ahead with an eight-minute penalty after Rhys Henry had been fouled, and strikes by Luke Marshall and Piers Wixon effectively settled matters. Wakering pulled one back with a Jack Carlile penalty two minutes from time. Honours were even in the only other game: Tom Pett put Potters Bar ahead after only five minutes at Soham, who saved a point when substitute Richard Gammon netted in the 53rd minute.
