VCD Athletic kept up their relentless form to rack up another home win on Saturday but three of the chasing pack also earned three points to keep pace with the Ryman North leaders.
Karl Dent on 33 minutes and James Duckworth four minutes later saw off Burnham Ramblers as VCD maintained their 100 per cent home record and 14 point lead at the top of the Ryman North table.

Second place Witham Town won 2-1 away at second bottom Brentwood Town, Lewis Godbold putting them ahead soon after the break before doubling their advantage on 73 minutes. Jack Gardner pulled one back for the home side five minutes later but Town rode out their late push for an equaliser.

Thurrock are third and still unbeaten at home after their 2-0 win over Soham Town Rangers. David Knight put them ahead 10 minutes before the break but they had to wait until the final minute to put the result beyond doubt when Charlie Stimson fired home.

Redbridge won 3-1 away at Wroxham to climb above Maldon and Tiptree who went down 1-0 at home to a 57th minute penalty from Romford's Paul Clayton.
Daniel Smith put the Motormen ahead after half an hour but they still needed second half strikes from Patrick Damali and Daniel Tenkorang in the final minute after Wroxham's Joseph Marsden levelled before the break from the penalty spot.

Harlow were forced to settle for a point on their travels after drawing 1-1 at Cheshunt. Shane Stamp put them in front after half an hour but Joe Clemo levelled it up for the Ambers three minutes before the interval.

Aveley and Sudbury are just a point behind sixth placed AFC Sudbury after beating the Suds 2-1 at Field Mill. Petrit Elbi put the Millers 1-0 up from the spot on 27 minutes and Ross Wall won it with ten minutes to go after Ryan Henshaw had grabbed an equaliser just before the hour mark.

Dereham Town ensured Ware are still in the bottom three after sending them home as 4-1 losers. Danny Beaumont and Luke Tuttle before the break along with Aaron Kay from the spot and Nick Howell just after the hour mark, all scored before Leigh Rose grabbed a consolation.

Waltham Forest are still rooted to the bottom after going down 2-0 at home to Erith & Belvedere, Flack after 18 minutes and Sprosen six minutes from time securing the three points to lift the Deres further away from trouble.

Saturday's match of the day undoubtedly came at Barkingside who eventually lost 5-4 at home to Waltham Abbey. Luren Maxwell grabbed a brace as the visitors scored four before half-time, Joe Pearman and Tom Bruno also finding the net.
Barkingside pulled three back themselves before the interval, Toran Senghore, Andy Edmunds and Dan Callaway all scoring, but they couldn't find a fifth after James Peagram had restored Abbey's two goal cushion with just over 20 minutes to go despite Andy Edmunds giving them hope seven minutes from time.
