Four of the top five in the Ryman League Division One North all won on Saturday, meaning Cray Wanderers still head the table by four points.

They won 2-1 at the Wallace Binder Group Stadium against mid-table Maldon & Tiptree, taking the lead on the half-hour mark through Nathan Fox and then scoring a second 3 minutes after the break from James Duckworth.
Charley Edge replied in the 71st minute, but the Jammers had Darren Mills sent-off 10 minutes from time for two bookings.

Second-placed Thurrock won by the same scoreline at Ship Lane against neighbours Aveley, going ahead through Jordan Clark`s penalty in the 10th minute and then winning it in stoppage time at the end of the game through sub Dan Francis after Petrit Elbi had equalised in the 70th minute.

Third-placed AFC Hornchurch were more comfortable 3-0 winners at home to fifth-placed Bury Town.
The Urchins raced into a 3-0 lead by the 34th minute with goals from Elliott Styles and a George Purcell brace.
And that was it, apart from the visitors losing Phil Weavers to a straight red card 5 minutes from time.

Harlow Town`s Barrow Farm saw fourth-placed AFC Sudbury win 2-1, coming back from being a 16th minute Joey Benjamin goal down to win, thanks to Luke Callander 2 minutes before the break and Craig Parker 5 minutes from time.

The bottom two both lost, but third-bottom Haringey Borough pulled themselves to within a point of the team immediately above them, Redbridge, after beating ten-man Great Wakering Rovers 3-1 at home.
Boro led through Jorge Sambu`s 20th minute effort when Rovers lost defender Ellis Sands to a straight red card 5 minutes before half-time for denying a goalscoring opportunity.
Dan Aristidou converted the resulting penalty to make it 2-0, only for the ten-men to immediately respond through Jake Gordon.
But a third from Rakim Richards made sure Boro earned all three points 20 minutes from time.

Bottom-markers Heybridge Swifts were beaten by the same scoreline at Phoenix Sports, whose Adrian Stone and Ricky Freeman had them two-up by the 19th minute.
Lee Townrow reduced the deficit on the half-hour mark, only for Adem Ramadan to make it 3-1 with 3 minutes of the second half played.

Second-bottom Waltham Abbey suffered a 1-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Redbridge, whose Will Drake scored the only goal 9 minutes into the second half.

Barkingside were pushed further towards the danger zone after a 2-1 defeat at Dereham Town, whose Lewis Butcher put them in front after 13 minutes.
Ryan Crisp eventually doubled that lead 10 minutes after the break, with George Lataaya pulling one back for Side 11 minutes from the end.

With Bury Town losing, Tilbury could have moved into the top five with a home win over Great Wakering Rovers, but had to be content with one from a 2-2 draw at Chadfields.
The small crowd had to wait for 56 minutes for a goal – Ben Sawyer putting Rovers in front – and then two came along almost together with Kurt Smith equalising from the spot.
Ryan Horne restored Rovers` lead on 66 minutes, but Smith`s second penalty 4 minutes later made it 2-2.

Cheshunt could also have ousted Bury but they too were held to a draw – 1-1 at home to Witham Town, whose Nathan Koranteng put them in front just past the hour-mark only for recent signing Stuart Zanone to level matters 10 minutes later.

The day`s other game between Wroxham and Romford at Trafford Park also ended 1-1 with Jack Garrod`s goal 5 minutes before the break being cancelled out by Matt Frew 18 minutes from the end.
