The Norwich City FC Regional Development Programme for Cambridgeshire is delighted to announce that its boys College Football Programme based at Bishop Laney Sixth Form will be entering a new league for the 2017/18 season.

After an initial application process, the Cambs RDP have been invited to join the Football Conference Youth Alliance (Known sometimes as the Conference Youth Alliance). This is the official U19s Youth League for non-league semi-professional clubs and professional teams who compete in the Football Conference league and respective non-league competitions in England.
This league will now provide a higher standard of competitive fixture for our College programme and enable the players to play at a even more professional level nationally.

As part of the entry into the league, we are delighted to be partnering with Soham Town Rangers FC who will play host to our league and cup fixtures for the 2017-18 at their home ground at Julius Martin Lane.

Pip Davis, Football & Education Coordinator, commented
"We are delighted to have been accepted into the league, which will provide a high level of football for our players and students. The fact that it is nationally recognised and coming up against semi-professional Clubs youth teams, will provide a really elite environment for our players to develop their football. The partnership with Soham Town Rangers and the use of their fantastic ground and pitch will further provide an important football environment for the boys outside of their studies at Bishop Laney Sixth Form".

Stuart Hamilton, Chairman of Soham Town Rangers, commented
"We are pleased to support local football in the community and partnering up with the Norwich City FC RDP for Cambridgeshire. It is a great thing to be able to host the games, & supporting the boys development as they progress in the game".
