The Greens have signed attacker Ross Paterson from Thurlow Nunn neighbours Newmarket Town.
The 23 year old previously had a short spell at the Lane at the beginning of the 2012 season before returning to Cambridge University Press. Ross joined Newmarket at the start of the following campaign and has this season scored ten goals in nineteen appearances for the Jockeys.

There have also been three players leave the club in the last couple of weeks.
Goalkeeper Harry Reynolds has joined Ely City on dual registration. The 19 year old arrived at the Lane during the summer following his release from Cheltenham Town however in recent weeks has seen game time limited and has signed for the Robins on a short-term deal.

Salim Relizani and Miles Smith have also left after only a month with the club after signing on dual-registration.
Salim returns to parent club Histon, while Miles has signed for the Stutes having left Kettering Town.

A number of former players have recently signed for new clubs having left Soham following the change of management at the beginning of October.
Alex Luque has joined Ryman League Cheshunt, Wayne Goddard and Rob Ruddy has signed for Mildenhall Town, whilst Dale Archer has returned to Linton Granta.
