Aztecs Youth 0 v Soham U18's 3 Soham fielded U16 and U15 squad players against an U17 side and ran out comfortable winners.

Right from the start, Rangers took control with Dan Sterna and Sam Cook running midfield. Cook hit the post with a splendid 25 yard drive and Ollie Drake hit the bar with a shot on the turn before skipper Jordan Alexander cleverly turned in Wil Seymour's precision cross after 20 minutes. Soham continued to press with Seymour causing the home side continual problems whilst new centre half pairing Alex Burr and Steve Sexton looked calm and assured at the back. The visitors went two up on the hour with Alexander scoring again following good approach play from Joe Watson before Ollie Drake crossed from the left and Troy Sparkes pressurised a home defender into heading an own goal five minutes later. Rangers were well on top but could not add to the score despite ending the game with a spell of almost constant attacking. Overall a good workout against enthusiastic and physically strong opponents, with Dan Sterna outstanding and Ali Fox having an excellent second half. The Soham side included no less than five Soham Colts players. Haynes, Barker (Sparkes), Sexton, Burr, S. Sterna (King), Seymour, D. Sterna, Cook (Watson), Hill (Fox), Drake, Alexander
