After inviting a representative of the British Transport Police Federation up to a game, Soham Town Rangers as a club has impressed them and secured sponsorship for the Under 18 side. There first action was to order a brand new away kit, which will used next term, displaying the sponsor across the front of the shirt. British Transport Police Federation Treasurer Dave Gibson spoke confidently about the deal and was looking forward to supplying the Youth with new kit and accessories. Watching the team last year and seeing them win the title was fantastic. After my first visit in mid March, I was impressed and I have been following the progress since! The club as a whole impressed me with the set up, facilities and all round organisation. There is real potential in what I have seen in the Under 18s and look forward to having our name associated with them and across their clothing. Our funding is there to help projects and areas of development in the community, so this is an ideal opportunity for us too. It doesnt stop there either, as the Youth team also have a deal with a clothing supplier who will be providing other training gear all printed and personalised. The kit will be supplied by Mista Promotions who are also keen to help provide the Youth team with top quality equipment for the new season.
