Bury, who are a full time youth academy, scored twice at the beginning of each half, as well as a fifth near the end of the game to secure their victory. Adam Clemence and Gareth Suttle created good chances for the young Soham side, but couldnt finish. The Greens lost keeper Jamie Chamberlain at the beginning of the second half, after he was injured in the build up to Burys third goal. 15 year old Michael Mitchell came in to make his debut. Despite conceding a goal before he had touched the ball a minute later, he went on to make some very important saves.
