The Zamaretto League Division One Central was particularly badly hit by the wet weather, with eight of the scheduled eleven games falling by the wayside.

Top of the table Hitchin Town recovered after going behind in the 3rd minute to score three times in the second half to win 3-1 at Aylesbury. Ricky Miller gave the home side their early advantage but then a Richard Howell brace on 62 and 86 minutes, sandwiched by a Ieuan Lewis effort on 83, sealed the Canaries` victory. Rugby Town moved back into play-off contention when, having taken the lead on the stroke of half time courtesy of Nick Preston, they scored three times in four second half minutes through Ben Steane, Seb Hamilton and Richard Wesley to secure a comfortable 4-0 home win over Uxbridge. Third-bottom Soham Town Rangers conceded a goal in each half from Ryan Bird to slip to a 2-0 home defeat by Burnham. :
