SYCOB pulled off their biggest victory of the season by thumping Bedworth at Holloway's Park. Dean Papali gave then the lead on the half-hour mark, Trevor Charlery quickly added a second five minutes later. Then Mark Doyle and Charlie Hill struck for the Rams late on as they recorded back-to-back home wins and clean sheets to move up to seventeenth in the table. Sutton were a 17th minute Aston Goss goal behind at Coles Lane before Matt Jackson pulled them back on terms five minutes later. Ben Gallant restored Leighton`s lead on 36 minutes but then immediately after the half time break Richard Ball and Jamille Matt scored to earn the Royals victory. In the Zamaretto League Division One Midlands on Tuesday night, Hitchin Town opened up a three-point lead at the top of the table when a goal after just four minutes gave them a 1-0 home victory over Biggleswade Town. Recent signing Harry Hunt scored the only goal for the Canaries at Top Field against a neighbouring Waders` side containing several of their former players. Hitchin were aided by third in the table Bury Town losing an amazing game at Ram Meadow to Woodford United. Bury had raced into a three-goal lead after 28 minutes, courtesy of Ben Coker, Sam Nunn and Callum Kearns only for Woodford United to draw level soon after the break with goals from Tom Fountain and a Nicky Gordon brace, took a 4-3 lead on the hour through Lee Underwood but the visitors hit two late goals in three minutes from Ross Harris and Chris Jackson to take the points with an amazing 5-4 victory.
