Director of Rugby, Andy Treble, who hails from Warrington, was brought up on rugby league and is a passionate advocate of the sport. Having played himself as a youngster and then progressing to college level, he is confident that the creation of a long-term development plan for the Somerset Vikings, will help see the sport grow in popularity in the Southwest.

With over six years’ experience of coaching rugby union as a level 2 RFU coach, Andy has a good understanding of coaching structures and an instinctive understanding of rugby league which he aims to put to good use to help drive the Vikings forward. He is keen to work closely with the new Head Coach and the playing committee to ensure that the coaching delivered is based on best practice, providing opportunities for player development and indeed the overall growth of the club.
