History
Founded in 1964, Southampton Rugby Club is a small, friendly family club based at Test Park. The club is famed amongst rival teams for the luxurious nature of the clubhouse, which was built by founding members in the style of a Cold War bunker - and is still standing today. What it lacks in windows, it more than makes up for in atmosphere...
The club fields two Senior teams and a highly successful Veterans side, alongside an up-and-coming Women's team. In recent years, close links with Southampton Solent University have strengthened the senior squads, standing Southampton Rugby Club in a promising position for the new season.
New members are always welcome- whether you're an absolute beginner or Johnny Wilkinson.
