Whether you’re an outgoing individual who loves talking to people or someone who’s well-connected in the community... Southampton Girls & Ladies FC Committee is the place for you! We are seeking additional committee members to develop the football club. There is also an opportunity to manage the club's U10 side.This is a good chance for anyone prepared to give a small amount of time to join the committee, to help map out and run the Club’s future programme. We have benefited enormously in the past from fresh faces and ideas and would like to do so again. CLUB SECRETARY will be responsible to The Club Committee, through the Chairperson. The Club Secretary carries out or delegates all the administrative duties that enable the club and its members to function effectively. The Club Secretary is a pivotal role within the club and any assistants provide the main point of contact for people within and outside the club on just about every aspect of the club’s activities. Tasks will include: • Attending league meetings if required; • Affiliating the club to the County FA; • Affiliating the club to the league(s); • Registering players to the league(s); • Dealing with correspondence; • Organising and booking match/training facilities for the season; • inform Club Treasurer of any bank transactions; • to make the registration records available to the Committee, upon request; • to liaise with all managers regarding registrations; • to pursue outstanding registration fees; • distribution of Club Code of Conducts to managers for players, parents & spectators; . How much time will I need to give to the job? Generally four to five hours per week, will increase at busy times particularly towards the end of season/start of a new season.
MINUTES SECRETARY: The role of the Minutes Secretary is to support the Chair in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Management Committee. In summary, the Minutes Secretary is responsible for: Ensuring meetings are effectively organised and minuted. Maintaining effective records and administration. Generally two hours per monthly meeting, and a further two hours per meeting to record and distribute minutes and ancillary papers.
PRESS OFFICER & WEBMASTER: The role is to give Southampton Saints G&LFC as much good publicity as possible. This includes sharing news, club aspirations and match reports through the press and other media. The role of press officer has been combined with webmaster. You will ensure the club web site along with reports and other media comply with published codes of conduct and reach the widest possible audience.
FUNDRAISING OFFICER:You will need to have excellent communications skills and the enthusiasm to drum up support for the club and the female game in general.Main function is to primarily increase the contributions of individuals and groups by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities from various sources.The ability to network is paramount for this position, since success in the role depends heavily on being able to forge positive relationships with supporters.As Fundraising Officer you will also work to raise awareness of the club's aims and goals.

U10's Manager Vacancy:If you would like the chance to coach/manage a successful Saints team then please contact the club's Chair Tracey Wheeler at the email below. Opportunities exist for U10 Manager in the coming season. You will need a minimum of FA Level 1 Coaching Football certificate (or be working towards it) and must be able to pass DBS checks.
