Juniors First Session!
Minus 4 degrees did not put off the Spitfires Juniors as they prepare for the Summer Season
Spitfires Juniors pre-season training started today with 12 players attending the first session on Southampton Common.
Head Coach Tyreman was happy with the turn out in the artic conditions with the temperature hovering around -4 degrees!
Assitant coach James Harvie was on hand to help out at the session which included core passing and catching skills, how to play the ball and finally line speed and retreat.
Training continues next Saturday from 10am till 12 noon with the venue this time Eastleigh Rugby Union Club.
Players receive points for attending training and also for how they train. This weeks points were awarded by James Harvie to the following players.
1. Charlie Forsyth 5 pts
2. Tom Stanley 4 pts
3. Matt Brown 3 pts
4. Daffyd Gorry 2 pts
5. Mohammed Sampson 1 pts
Play of the Session was from Finn Hills who showed some nice decision making touches with the ball in hand.
Head Coach Tyreman will be bring you the first Reginald J Mitchell Award Leader-board on Sunday Evening.
