Cup Run Ends
South Bucks Ladies 1st XI brave and most successful run in the cup came to and end on Sunday
I would like to thank all the team for their efforts in the cup this season, after it sadly came to a brave end on Sunday against Yateley side who are top in their Hampshire League.
After the previous day's efforts it was good to see a squad of 13, although this included one hung-over (from her Hen night the previous evening), one injured and physically exhausted and the return of Pip (from her motor bike accident) so really only had 11 but that was 1 more than yesterday.
The cup run has seen the team compete against sides in a higher League position then the side, in every round and it could have continued yesterday but unfortunately fell behind to 2 goals (including one in the last minute)
Yateley are now drawn against Guernsey, but the team have not missed out as some of them are on tour there in Easter so we still made it to Guernsey, just not in the cup
