After a miserable stretch of bad weather the old rivalry between Swansea and Cardiff can finally be decided with a first of two meetings this year.
Sunscreen was definitely on the cards today as the clouds parted the two sides began their warm up and the sun beamed down some well overdue rays of what is supposed to be summer.
The game started in favour of the Magpies as they scored the first goal to the Panthers three behinds. The home team didn’t maintain their lead for long as the Panthers replied with the three goals and seven behinds to end the first spell in front by ten points.
The trend setting visitors as always had their best twenty minutes the second time round running away with the lead and the one way traffic continued into the second half with the Magpies being unable to cope with the speed of the Panthers attack and clever movement of the ball.
