The Spartans visited the Wolves as the business end of the rugby league season culminates with the u14s unbeaten so far in 2014.
A return fixture against the Wolves saw a thrilling encounter with the spirited Wolves displaying new level of vigour.
The first 20 minutes belonged to the Wolves who showed some great shape keeping their channels clean for reaching the edges, and proved to be a genuine threat to the Spartans early unorganized defence. The first half saw the Wolves dominate field position and dominate the scoreboard before the Spartans sparked into life.
The Spartans realised the threat posed by the Wolves and set about their normal duties with a brace of off the cuff tries. Some elusive play by the Spartans half backs started to build some pressure on the wolves developing in further scores.
The final whistle came with the Spartans in full control but the scoreboard was not a fair reflection of the game as the Wolves proved a stern test and showed some good improvements on their last showing against the Spartans.
