UPDATE - 12/06/17
STOP PRESS ! England Legend Marcus Trescothick has announced that he'll be playing in the match, and we've had confirmation that Somerset captain Tom Abell will be too. Along with James Hildreth, the 3 stars will be passing on some tips to South Devon's colts at a pre-match training session.

UPDATE - 25/05/17
We've got some great news - Torquay United Player-Manager Kevin Nicholson will be a guest player for SDCC, as well as speaking at the pre-match lunch.

As well as that, programmes are now available to buy from the office or bar at the Rec, and will soon be in every branch of Wollen Michelmore Solicitors.

On Tuesday 20th June South Devon Cricket Club have the honour of hosting a T20 match to be played against Somerset County Cricket Club. The match is being played as part of James Hildreth’s 2017 Testimonial Year, James having been a fantastic member of the Somerset team, and one of County Cricket's outstanding Batsmen, for many years.
We’ve had an overwhelming response to the pre-match lunch we are hosting, which has unfortunately now sold-out, but there are still spaces available in the VIP Marquee, which will be open from mid-afternoon and includes seating, a private bar and buffet refreshments (served during the T20 match). Prior to the match Somerset CCC players will arrive and mingle with the VIP guests.
To ensure a day to remember a glossy souvenir programme is being produced to contain team photographs and information about South Devon, The Rec and Somerset. The programme will be sold in advance of the day and will allow entrance to the ground.
