New Players Welcome
Rugby for all.
In addition to the serious levels of rugby played by the 1st and 2nd teams, Southend RFC also caters for amateur and social players of all levels, including complete beginners.
There are 4 amatuer sides taking the field every Saturday (3rds/Development XV , 4ths, 5ths and 6ths) and also an occasional mid-week side for those who cant play at the weekends.
Touch rugby for the amateur sides takes place every Wednesday night starting at 7.45 and all are welcome to attend, including those returning to the game and complete beginners. Its a great way to hone handling skills in a fun environment.
