Summer Rugby League takes a trip to the seaside
U13's London Junior League 9's Festival
U13’s London Junior League kicked off its 2014 season with a trip to the sunny seaside town of Southend today for the opening 9’s festival.
12 teams from across London and the South East converged at Shoeburyness High School to battle for the title of 2014 9’s Rugby League Champions.
Teams were split into 3 pools of 4, with the winners of each pool and the best runner up progressing through to the semi final.
Charlton Gunners were crowned eventual winners in a very close fought final against Elmbridge Eagles, through the Golden Try rule.
Many thanks to all players, parents, coaches and of course Shoeburyness High School for making today possible and such a great success.
Fixtures for the U13’s league will be released Monday.
