Charity fundraiser for Melanoma UK at Walker Ground on 10th April 2015

On Friday 10th April 2015 - SACC chairman Dan Whiting will be hosting an event for Melanoma UK, a patient support and advocacy group, by putting on a show called Pushing the Boundaries. This was something that Dan & Melanoma UK did at Headingley last September with Ryan Sidebottom, Steve Kirby, Jack Brooks and Jonny Bairstow, and the show was well supported by the Yorkshire public.

Now, Dan is bringing the show back to The Walker Ground in Southgate and will be doing live Q and A’s with England batsman Sam Robson, Middlesex players John Simpson and Tim Murtagh, as well as the hilarious Steve Kirby who is worth the admission fee alone.

The show will be starting at 7.30pm and tickets are priced at just £15 which includes a hot buffet. Not only will you have a good laugh, but you will be supporting an extremely worthwhile cause in the process. The players are more than approachable and it will also be a decent opportunity to get them to sign memorabilia which can then be raffled off later in the year, in aid of vital club funds.

You will be able to find out who is the tightest Yorkshireman in living history and buys his suits from Oxfam? Who is the most boring man in first class cricket? Who fell off a stage smashing up an £8000 plasma TV? Who is the biggest lbw candidate in first class cricket? Kirby’s fight with Shoaib Akhtar!!! All this, as well as the odd serious question regarding their careers and lives as professional cricketers.

To secure your ticket please email dan@londonlegalrec.com or gillian.nuttall@melanomauk.org.uk

We look forward to seeing as many of you on the night as possible.

Let’s make this a night to remember at the Walker Ground!
