MAY DAY! MAY DAY! - VIEW FROM THE BOUNDARY
Well, the league season is finally underway (just about), but conditions remain wet and it is likely that many more matches will fall fowl of the weather before the month is out.
Our colts teams remain unbeaten, unfortunately, principally because that they have not played a single game to date!
Johnners ‘Bus Pass Party’ went off well with the highlight of the night being when mum Rose, aged 91, asked who’s birthday it was when the sparkle lite cake appeared.
While the lack of cricket being played is a great concern, more than 900 runs were scored on the Adelaide damp pitch over the last weekend, which included a nifty maiden fifty plus from Corey. Poodle has finally made the score box end his own.
On Saturday 19th April we will showing the Champions League Cup Final in the Clubroom with half-time food on offer. Disgruntled Spurs and Arsenal supporters can prop up the bar and ignore the Chels victory.
While on Friday 25th May we have the return of the popular Adelaide Quiz Night – not to be missed – book your table ( 4-6) now.
The following night the 3’s will be enjoying their first Home, home game of the season and will no doubt make the most of the occasion.
Roll on June for some Jubilee warmer weather!
