History
With a considerable amount of endeavor on and off the pitch, South Kilburn made great strides forward in season 2006-2007. Losing only four games all season, the club finished top of MCFL Division One and had good cup runs in a number of county cups. The success of 2006-2007 was replicated in 2007-2008 as the club exceeded its own high expectations in finishing second in the Cherry Red Books MCFL Premier Division. The league success was supported by two good cup runs as South Kilburn reached the semi-final of The Alec Smith Premier Division Cup and narrowly lost 2-1 in the final of the London County FA Junior Cup.
The runners up league position allowed South Kilburn to make the jump up to the Hellenic League and Step 6 on the non-league football pyramid. Last season, South Kilburn finished a very respectable sixth in the Hellenic Division One East. This will now be used as a springboard to push further on up the league this year.
After a successful stint at Broadfields Country Club, South Kilburn have now moved grounds to Vale Farm Sports Centre in Wembley. Extensive work to meet the ground grading requirements has taken place at the ground throughout the summer and the club now looks forward to welcoming all of this season’s opponents to our new home.
