UPDATED: Lancashire Trophy Fixture Announced

South Manchester H.C. have been drawn against Blackburn Northern Men's 1st team in the first round of the Lancashire Trophy.

The fixture will be played on Sunday, 4th October 2015 at Blackburn Northern Sports Club with pushback now confirmed as 12:30p.m.

Blackburn Northern Men's first team are in Barrington Sports North West Hockey League Division 2, having gained promotion from Division 3N with a record of P:22 W:21 L:1 GD:77. Blackburn Northern have been runners-up in the Lancashire Trophy for the past two seasons.

In contrast, South Manchester don't have a great history in the competition, having lost all five of their previous fixtures, at a combined goal difference of -25.
