On behalf of our Chairman Dewi, I have some sad news to pass on. We have learned that yesterday former 1st team all rounder Mick Ransome died.
Mick played for the club in the early 90's when we joined the Wetherby League, playing at least 4 seasons. During that time he was the winner of the first team batting trophy in 1992.
After moving on Mick regularly returned to play in our annual Presidents Match fixture.
The club will like to take the opportunity of offering our condolences to his family and friends.
We will pass on details of his funeral as soon as we know anything for those who are interested in attending.
