Southminster St. Leonards FC

Rob Small has managed to retain the services of the core of his Championship winning squad from last season despite interest from a number of clubs around essex, particularly clubs in the Pitsea area.

Goalkeeper and Club Captain Martyn Guest(pictured) will continue between the sticks for the Saints while Simon King and Neil Marron will remain in defence.

Ross Adams, Luke Moore, Nathan Clarke, Lee Perry and Paul Lewis have also all signed up for another season.

In attack we have succesfully kept hold of Chris Lewis, Chris Tuttlebee and Dave Browne. Elliot Walker has also signed but after an injury plagued season last year it will be like having a new signing.

Welcome back boys and here is to another succesful season.

A number of players are leaving the club notably Taylor Lang, Tim Rice, David Main, James Cross, Sammy Cross, Chris Scott and Leo King. We wish those boys all the best in the future and thank them for their contribution to last seasons success.
