Park had to make a late change to their starting line after Every injured his knee in the warm up. Miles having missed the midweek win at Sandhurst through injury acme into the starting line up with David moving from centre half to central midfield. Stafford’s long throw was flicked on by David at the near post but the Dorking keeper just managed to grab the ball as the Park forward closed in. Chris Smith was put through but hit his shot straight at Coles in the Dorking goal who saved. Stafford played a one two with Wornham before shooting narrowly wide of the post. Chris Smith had a shot blocked and when the ball reached David Smith on the right his cross evaded everyone. With 34 minutes on the clock Reid pounced on a loose ball and struck his shot in to the bottom corner to give Dorking the lead. Park responded when Robson’s snap shot flew inches wide of the right hand post. Lavery was adjudged offside from David Smith’s quick free kick as he only had the keeper to beat. With half time approaching the visitors doubled their lead. A free kick out on the left was headed on by Hartt for Duffell to score.

Five minutes in to the second half it was 3-0 to Dorking as Park lost the ball on the edge of the Dorking area a long ball down the middle cleared the Park back line for Fizgibbon to run on to and score from the edge of the box. Guscott fired wide as Park tried to respond. Chris Smith’s glancing header at the near post went wide of the far post before Wastell made a fine save with the Park defence once again beaten by a long ball downfield. Substitute Hall dragged a shot wide from 15 yards George Smith was denied in the act of shooting after good work by Hall. Park pulled one back on 70 minutes when Stafford’s corner was headed towards goal by David for Chris Smith to head home form close range. O’Sullivan’s cross was deflected behind as Park now began to exert some pressure on the Dorking back line. George Smith’s cross found Hall who shot wide before Guscott had a shot blocked. Lavery headed straight at the keeper from David Smith’s cross. Park’s final effort saw George Smith’s shot from the edge of the box go just over the bar.

This was a disappointing performance from Park after their convincing midweek victory. Park now face Molesey away on Tuesday before consecutive home games against Chessington & Hook Utd (17/3) and Banstead (20/3).
