Matty Stephenson aka Stev has been at the club since 2008 after joining from arch rivals Westoe RFC. Stev is close friends with a number of players at the club after spending five years at Harton School including Chris Vacher, Clayton Fox and Daniel Whitelaw.Stephenson, 23, plays in the centre position and is used as a crash ball specialist bursting through the last line of defence.
