About the Club
Southside Football Club is one of the largest Football Clubs in the County and operates as a non-profitable organisation dedicated to promoting fair play and providing a safe environment for its 300+ players.
The club was formed in 1994 and name was taken due to the fact it was initially for youngsters from the south side of Cheltenham. In 2002 we achieved our biggest accolade by becoming the first club in Gloucestershire to receive the FA Charter Standard Award. This award ensures that every one of our officials and assistants comply with FA regulations by completing safety checks in order to work with youngsters. We strive to give officials the opportunity to develop their coaching/managerial skills with a continual training and development plan.
