The new season is fast approaching us and we wanted to inform you all about the new membership payment structure

The new season is fast approaching us and with pre-season starting next week, (Tuesday 22nd July @ 7.30pm), we wanted to let you all know that the club will be changing the way in which it collects Direct Debit Membership Subs / Pay-as-you-play subs / Match subs and training subs.

As it currently stands, it is very difficult for the club to monitor monies being paid by members. The club is run as a non-profit making organization and so all subs received do go towards the running and upkeep of the club. Pitch Hire, Training Equipment, Insurance, Referees, Kit etc. etc. etc. all cost the club money and as we are currently looking into the potential for floodlights, we need to ensure that the collection of subs is run more efficiently.

As such, starting from next week, we will be rolling out a new system. The new system is linked to Pitchero so it is vital that you are signed up to Pitchero with a working email address. There are some long standing / senior members of the club who are either not on Pitchero or have turned off Pitchero Emails. You all need to check that you are registered and able to receive emails…..

Briefly, the new payment system operates by sending emails to players from whom subs are due. If you opt to pay the monthly fee (the old direct debit method), you will receive a single email a month, with a link, through which you can pay your subs. We will be keeping training and match registers this season and so if you are pay-as-you-go then we will count up these registers and emails will be sent out fortnightly requesting subs. We appreciate that for some this may not be as convenient as the old direct debit method or the ‘bunging Tunde £2’ method but the above allows the club to monitor what subs have been paid, by whom and when. If you are on student membership or concessions then they will also be sent through emails.

We understand that for some this system is very difficult and if this is the case for anyone then please let us know and we can look into alternative methods.

We have kept membership and other subs frozen as per last year:

Annual All Inclusive Subs - Single Payment - £240.00

6 Monthly All Inclusive Subs - Two Payments - £120.00

Monthly All Inclusive Subs - Monthly (12x) - £20.00

Pay as you Play - One Off Payment - £50.00 plus £5 Match Fee and £2 Training Fee.

It is a completely new system for all involved and so we are anticipating some hiccups during the early months but would ask that you all try and embrace the new system and pro-actively try to keep abreast of where you are in relation to club subs.

For those currently paying by direct debit, we will contact you separately about the cancelling and changing over dates.
