HEAD OF LADIES RUGBY
Stratford RFC are seeking to recruit a head of ladies rugby. Working within a close knit team, the successful applicant will be taking on an expanding role that will be very rewarding.
Stratford RFC currently operates a successful touch side and is looking to expand into the contact game.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing the ladies whilst setting clear and achievable targets for the squad. Applicants must be available to lead and execute well-planned and adaptable training sessions that clearly reflect the needs of the squad.
The head of Ladies rugby will work in conjunction with the director of rugby and commit to at least one training session a week as well as all tournaments and matches. Ideally they will also assist in promoting club events, have ideas in increasing female participation and attract new players. Candidates will be excellent communicators and have the ability to support and develop new players.
The role is ideal for a new coach looking to challenge themselves in a new and thriving environment and will be given the opportunity to shape the future of Stratford RFC Ladies Rugby.
The ideal candidate will have;
Experience in coaching and developing others, RFU accreditation preferred but not essential
Working knowledge of Ladies Rugby specifically of touch rugby
A desire to implement contact rugby on a regular basis and work to achieve this
A desire to attract more players and increase female participation in the sport.
