This year has been a very enjoyable yet competitive season which went right down to the final weeks of the season. Since the start of the season SBU held the top spot in the league and remained at this position until the game against Worksop with 3 games to go. The league was dependent upon that score, and whoever was to win that game would go on to win the league, sadly we lost 2-0 (conceding both goals from short corners). Although hopes of promotion were gone the team showed great spirit right until the lest game of the season and finished on a 5-0 win away at Newark. A big congratulations to the team and the ladies who have played week in and week out. A massive thanks to Guy Draper (Coach at the club) who has guided and educated the team during the season and a massive Thanks to the supporters who have turned up some rain or shine / win or lose. Looking forwards to see you all next year.
