Parking at Centenary Ground, Brinkley
Parking at this ground is severley limited and, at times, is overstretched. The only alternative is to park on the road outside and this can lead to increased safety concerns. Safety is a prime concern for the club and all of the visitors from our teams and our visitors. It would be greatly appreciated if you would bear the following points in mind when coming here.
Firstly, try to travel in as few cars as possible - this has the added benefits of reducing petrol costs and reducing carbon emissions.
When arriving please slow down and obey the directions and instructions if anyone is directing you where to park.
Please park as close as is reasonably practicable to the car next to you.
If you do have to park on the road please:
--> do so on the same side as the club entrance as this will avoid youngsters having to cross the road.
--> do not park near to the club entrance as this will obscure the view for people trying to get out.
--> be aware that there is a drainage ditch on both sides of the road so don't go too far over.
If someone is trying to leave the ground please let them out before you attempt to get in.
As a club we are currently working with the local councils and landowners to try to improve both the signage and the facilities and we would be very grateful if you would help us where you can.
