With over a 1000 votes since we posted there is just 1 week left for you to vote for South Woodham Ferrers Rugby Club. Please share this with as many people as possible and encourage them to vote for our application.

About the competition

The Aviva Community Fund offers you the chance to get funding for an important cause in your community.

Open to everyone - Aviva customers, employees, insurance brokers or financial advisers (whether associated with Aviva or not) and the general public - we want you to enter a project for your community and tell us what a difference these much-needed funds could make.

Get enough votes from friends, family and supporters in your community and your project could be entered into the Finals, where a judging panel will award the funds.

About our application

As a winter sport we would like to add floodlighting to our playing facilities to improve the mid week training. We have youth teams in every age group from Under 6's right through to Under 16's, then we have our academy for Under 17's and colts; plus 2 senior men's teams all of who will benefit from better facilities.

Not only will this mean better facilities which will encourage more people to participate it will also mean we can host mid week games for other clubs in the area and charity games.

How to vote

Once voting opens on the 21st October, you can share this link with as many friends, family and community supporters as possible so they can vote for your project.
Everyone you tell can cast 10 votes once they have registered, so get voting.

Remember - the more support it gets, the better the chances of getting funding for our cause.
