Next Saturday sees our 1s continue their push for promotion against Ipswich and that evening young Jack Reeve is fund raising for his tilt at the marathon for his chosen charity St Davids Hospice, so a bit of quality rugby to see and a chance to support a great cause.... see you there.

This year I have been lucky, or unlucky depending on how you perceive it, to be able to run the London Marathon 2017. I have decided to use this opportunity to raise money for St David's Hospice in Gwent. They were instrumental in looking after my grandfather who sadly passed away in March this year. My Granch, David Morgan was a miner for many years and this was the catalyst for his untimely passing.

Although we lived miles apart I felt very close to him and we shared a love for rugby and football. He was a very proud Welshmen and loved and rejoiced in any national victory especially over England. I would greatly appreciate any donation large or small to be paid to my just giving page.
