Despite the overwhelming response from all of you, Members, Supporters and friends of Spalding RFC, we’re sorry to tell you our project didn’t get enough votes to make it through to the Finals. There were 3861 Projects submitted Nationally with over 5 million votes cast, the competition between projects was really tough.

I am sure most of you kept in touch with the number of votes received and together we cast 4,682 votes, which means that we mobilised at least 469 individual supporters votes.

The Rugby Club Committee would like to pass on a massive thank you to everyone that voted for the Club , and we will now continue to strive to add more funding for The New Ground Project via member and supporter contributions, seeking further grant and loan opportunities and to continue to work and build upon what we now know is a strong base of support.
