Spalding took a mixed squad of 23 players to Boston on Saturday. Luke Turner playing his first game as captain.
Spalding started strongly but Boston’s defence was very hard to break. Spalding did finally broke through and it was Luke Turner who crossed the line from close range.
Harvey King, making his senior debut having, got onto the score sheet shortly after. There were also tries for Callum Lewis, Harry Sharman, Conall Mason and Gav Sharman in the first half.
Spalding made changes in the second half but continued to play some cracking rugby, ex captain Dan Adams coming up with a hat trick. Spalding defence was great throughout and they ended the game winning 44-0.
