Why has fans favourite Simon Mowbray been deemed surplus to requirements? An honest answer would be appreciated because we are not happy. |

I can only guess..However Spalding Utd can now win nothing. They had a healthy budget. It was suggested the new guy came in and got the job simply because he said he could do the same job spending much less money. As Mowbs was a high earner it would be logical to save his weekly bill. Was not particularly impressed with the interview in the Guardian as it portrayed Mowbs in a negative manor in my opinion. Also in my opinion a wrong decision as you have to build a team. Mowbs on good money or not is a rare animal as he can actually put the ball in the net! Would have started to build my team around players like that ..not let them go. |

Good luck to Simon for the future and thank you for your wonderful contribution to the team this season - I am looking forward - as a fan - to enjoying all our excellent players continuing to have a part to play in our great team and to welcoming all new players as well. |
