The Tulips have one more fixture in 2018/19, the 'Bomber County Derby' away at Lincoln United this coming Saturday 28th April (KO: 3.00pm).
Aside from just an intriguing football match, the day will be illuminated with a host of celebrations to mark One Hundred Years Of The RAF (RAF 100), with an aircraft fly-past and the matchball delivered by parachutists amongst other highlights - well worth a visit, we hope you'll agree and all in a great cause. Full details of the day's events can be gleaned from the Lincoln United website and social media feeds and there's also a poster attached at the end of this article (or there will be within five minutes of me finishing this News update)!

One more game to go and then we can draw a line under a season of mixed emotions: disappointment that our involvement in any of the cups was too short-lived, frustration at the budget-cuts in mid-season which threw everyone into a tailspin, encouragement that a plethora of young talent has emerged and been given a chance in the first-team (courtesy of the new/successful Tulips U21 programme) and, ultimately, relief that we'll all be able to enjoy Step 4 football at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field once again next season thanks to concerted and sometimes breathtaking performances/results (mainly away from home) towards the latter part of the campaign.
See you at The Sun Hat Villas Stadium, Ashby Avenue (home of Lincoln United) this coming Saturday afternoon: the fun starts at noon!...
