Tulipettes Gain Local Bragging Rights

1 year ago By Non-League Webmeister

A 6-3 win for SUFC Ladies over local rivals Pinchbeck United on Sunday made it back-to back wins for the Tulipettes!...

After a shaky start to the season and some heavy defeats, SUFC Ladies manager/head coach Julian Wheeler (ably assisted by the players of course, his coaching staff and the odd sage-like whisper in his shell-like from Tulips U21 boss Lewis Thorogood), appears to have turned things around as the Tulipettes enjoyed a 6-3 win over Pinchbeck United Ladies last Sunday 29th October, their second consecutive win!

The home victory came on the back of a thumping 6-1 victory at Orton Ladies in the Tulipes' previous outing so confidence must be sky-high in the camp that the girls can kick-on and go from strength to strength for the remainder of the campaign.

Huge kudos to the SUFC Ladies who have shown what can be achieved in the face of adversity if you persevere and learn from past endeavours.

This News article will be updated with match intel/goalscorers as & when we have it - for now, well done Ladies: the future looks a whole lot brighter (even if the nights are now drawing in)!...
