Dave, played senior rugby for many years for the club, was instrumental in the building of the former clubhouse at Archdeacon Meadow,Sundays he coached the junior teams, sometimes driving the team bus to their away games. He also organised and took the junior players on several rugby tours throughout the country.
His son Daniel summed up every ones feelings in what he wrote.
"He was the kindest, most hard working gentleman you could ever meet."
