Following Gate's superb win over Runcorn Linnets on Saturday we hosted our Presentation night/ race night after the game in the clubhouse, which was a roaring success.

First up was club legend Brian (Taddy) Addison to say a few parting words about chairman Stuart Hopwood, whose stepping down at the end of the season, this being his last home game. Taddy presented Stuart with an engraved Tankard and shared some great memories from Stuart's time with the club.

Stuart's daughter Emma, was also presented with a bunch of flowers as a parting gesture. This was also Emma's last game with the club, she's been a great help behind the bar for several years now and will be sorely missed.

Onto the players and the first of four awards went to Conor Smith who won a landslide vote for his goal against Congleton Town after the room watched 10 different options for Goal of the Season.

The second award went to Ben Seear who won Player's Player of the season.

Mike Hall was the next award winner winning the Manager's Player of the Season.

Clubman of the Year this year went to John Maguire for his continued support in the changing room.

The last recognition went to Denise Gibson who comes to every home game to help serve the food and serve behind the bar. She is vital to the club.
