The main game of interest for Gate was at West Didsbury & Chorlton where a win for visitors Charnock Richard could have seen Gate finish 10th in the league. That wasn't to be though as West ran out 5-3 winners confirming themselves as finishing 10th in the league.

The turn around since Andy Clarkson and Terry Green have come into the side has been unrecognisable with Gate picking up 57 points from 32 games.

The hard work doesn't stop there though as the management team are leaving no stone unturned to push Gate further up the league next season. Already a number of Pre Season Friendlies against higher opposition have been arranged aswell as a full Pre Season fitness plan for when the players return.

Andy and Terry are currently looking to tie up the current playing squad for next season aswell as working on bringing in some quality players to boost the squad. News of both new arrivals and players staying will be on our website and social media platforms across the next couple of months.
